Adapter

Description:

A 2× teleconverter for doubling the focal length of compatible Canon EF telephoto lenses. Suitable for sports, wildlife, events and any shoot requiring greater telephoto reach without changing lenses.

Details:

The Extender EF 2x III doubles the focal length of the attached lens, so a 200 mm lens, for example, can be used as a 400 mm lens. It reduces the maximum aperture by two stops, meaning an f/2.8 lens becomes f/5.6.

Built-in electronics pass data between the lens and camera, although autofocus operation depends on the specific camera and lens combination. It is designed primarily for compatible Canon L-series telephoto lenses.
