Details:

The RØDE PodMic is primarily suited to speech recording at a desk or in a studio. Its cardioid polar pattern reduces sound from the sides and rear, while its built-in pop filter reduces unwanted bursts of air produced during speech.

As a dynamic microphone, it requires no phantom power, but it does need relatively high preamp gain. It can be used with an XLR mixer, recorder or audio interface, such as the RØDECaster Pro II system.
