Details:

The NTG3 is primarily suited to recording dialogue and location sound when isolating the sound source in front of the camera and reducing ambient noise are important. Its low self-noise and natural sound make it suitable for outdoor and indoor shoots, as well as narration and voice-over recording.

Its RF-bias design makes it more resistant to moisture and condensation. It requires a recorder, mixer or camera that supplies 48 V phantom power.
